According to the ministry, India is been supported globally in this second wave of COVID-19 virus. The country has received 2,933 oxygen concentrators, 2,429 oxygen cylinders, 13 oxygen generation plants, 2,951 ventilators/Bi PAP/CPAP and more than three lakh Remdesivir. Over the 12 states which covers 80.68% of India accounts to about 37.23 lakh active coronavirus cases.
Maharashtra has the maximum number of cases in the country with a6.75 lakh active cases, followed by Karnataka with 5,36,661 cases, Kerala 4,02,997, Uttar Pradesh 2,54,118 and Rajasthan 1,99,147 cases.
Other states also have numerous COVID-19 cases like Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Haryana, Bihar.
In the last 24 hours, 70.77% of new cases have been found in the 10 states out of which Maharashtra has the highest number of cases reported in the last 24 hours at 54,022, followed by Karnataka 48,781 and Kerala 38,460 new cases.
