Representation of Vaccine
On Saturday, Vaccines were administered in various parts of Maharashtra. The rate of vaccinated people with 24 hours was 7.85 Lakhs. The infections recorded every day reached 9,489 and death rates were 371. Maharashtra has set another record of almost 5,311 doses were given to people all across the state. Maharashtra's Additional Chief Secretary, Dr. Pradeep Vyas said: "Today yet again we surpassed our previous Best performance in Covid vaccination. Today till 7 PM we have administered 7,85,311 covid vaccine doses, which is the highest-ever number of vaccinations for the State. Vaccination is still in progress and we may cross the 8 lakh figures today. Our previous best was 7,38,704 vaccinations recorded on June 26”.
Maharashtra ranks top in total vaccination with 3,38,57,372 maintaining this position in the last 3 months. It was recorded that the daily deaths are 156, and infections are up to 8,753 increased to deaths of 3,712 and infections of 9,489. Current deaths were 153. The overall death rate is 1,22,724 and infections are 60,88,841, while 8,395 patients were recovered all across the state and the recovery rate dropped to 96 percent.
The no.of.active cases in the state are 1,17,575 with a total fatality rate of 2.01 percent. Mumbai recorded deaths of 21 persons and infections of 571 persons. The Covid-19 cases in Mumbai rose from 15,499 to 15,520, while the infected cases increased from 7,23,551 to 7,24,122.
Pune ranks first in no.of.active cases which is followed by Thane, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Sangli, Satara, Ratnagiri, Raigad and Sindhudurg. 60,88,841 persons tested positive for covid with 14.39 percent. While 6,32,949 people are home-quarantined and 4,422 were institutional quarantined
