AB de Villiers has announced retirement from all forms of cricket. AB de Villiers was one of the key players of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Villiers was the South African captain, and was one of the most dangerous batsmen in the history of IPL. He has thanked Virat Kholi and the entire RCB team and management for the support towards him. On 19th of November Villiers announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. The batsman took to Twitter and Facebook and made his announcement for the retirement from all forms of the game. After his announcement fans were surprised regarding his decision about retirement. Villiers had played for RCB in the last month. With his batting style he had earned the nickname “MR. 360”.
AB de Villiers had made retirement from international cricket back in 2018, but the 37 year old was there performing for IPL and was active in franchise cricket league. Villiers was part of RCB since 2011 and was the core player of the team.
