The chief minister of Punjab Charanjit singh Channi has ordered the Railway Protection Force (RPF) to drop all the charges from farmers who protested on railway tracks.
Charanjit singh Channi met Prime Minister Modi in Delhi and after this meeting he ordered this to RPF. Both the leaders together talked about the problem of farmers and the impact of three agricultural laws in the economy of Punjab. He urges Prime Minister Modi to take back these three agricultural laws.
Charanjit Singh Channi told the Prime Minister that the Punjab is agricultural land . All agriculture depends upon the farmers and the workers. Keeping these two happy is the most essential thing so that they can continue their work. Punjab is suffering because of the farmers. He also mentioned the role of Punjab in sacrificing and protecting the country.He said that people of Punjab have sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle and for the unity of the country.
The farmers from Punjab , Haryana and Uttar Pradesh are against the law and have been protesting for a very long time but they don't get any results from these. He urges the Prime Minister to continue their talk with farmers so their issues can be solved.
The Chief Minister told the media that he has urged the prime minister to end this agitation over the three farm laws. PM Modi listened to him intently and said he also wants a solution to this problem and is working in this direction.
