After 20 years of Narendra Modi in public office, BJP further plans to celebrate the longest tenure

Narendra Modi is the longest serving head of the elected government after Jawaharlal Nehru and Indra Gandhi. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi completed his longest tenure as the head of an electoral body which makes him the third longest serving minister after Jawaharlal Nehru and Indra Gandhi. Modi on Thursday completed his two decades long term tenure in the public office.

The tenure of Narendra Modi dates back to 2001 when he started his political career as the Chief Minister of Gujrat back in 2001, and since then he has gone to become the stalwart chief minister to one of the most popular and famous leaders which India produced. His first tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat was from 2001 to 2014. He was elected as the minister back in 2001 and served a long 12 years tenure of 12 years and 227 days.

 Then he went on to develop Gujarat’s structure. Again in 2014, he was elected as the Prime Minister. He was the 14th Prime Minister, who took his position, and since then he has been in office for 2,671 days. To mark this auspicious occasion, the ruling party has further organized a planned services of events, which also includes “Swachh Bharat abhiyan”, vision which focuses on spreading awareness for cleanliness within the country.The party workers will themselves clean the rivers, and will also make the public aware by spreading the importance of Cleanliness, confirms the reports.

The cleanliness drive: Swachh bharat 2.0”, mission was launched by PM earlier this month. Modi said that the plan is to make every city clear in India. Apart from the cleanliness and the BJP party rulers are also planning to offers prayers in the name of the Prime Minister for his longer health in Temples and Gurudwaras. And even “Langar”, will be also offered as the “Seva Samarpan Scheme”, which was launched on the 71st birthday of the prime minister.
