After the knee surgery, Natarajan much obliged to BCII and the medical team
India’s Yorker T Natarajan has undergone surgery to treat his knee injury on Tuesday, due to which he was not able to play IPL-14.
Last week, Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer was ruled out of the team due to the knee injury that he faced during the Australian tour earlier this year. He put a vote of thanks to the BCCI and medical team for looking after him. He tweeted, “Today, I underwent knee surgery - and am grateful for the expertise, attention, and kindness of the medical team, surgeons, doctors, nurses, and staff. I am grateful to @bcci and to all that have wished well for me.”
This season he had played only two games. And he never fully recovered from the injury because of the heavy workload he suffered on the tour of Australia. After the tour, he had also gone for rehabilitation at the Nation Cricket Academy and was declared fit to make a return to play against England.
