Apple offers service of free battery replacement to a few of its users.
It’s a piece of good news for iPhone users! iPhones whose batteries are impacted can now be changed for free, but the users need to pass certain stages. They can approach the Apple Store or an Apple-authorized service center and get the batteries replaced for free.

Apple has identified some iPhone 11 series handsets where inaccurate estimates of battery health are reflecting for some users.

With the rollout of the iOS 14.5, Apple has released a fix for the bug that starts to recalibrate the maximum capacity and peak performance capability of the battery.

Once the device is updated to iOS 14.5, users will see a message which suggests that the battery health reporting system on their iPhone is recalibrating.

In case the recalibration of the battery health reporting system was not successful, users will see a message that reads, “Recalibration of the battery health reporting system was not successful. An Apple Authorized Service Provider can replace the battery free of charge to restore full performance and capacity.”
