An Indian Army personnel was killed in a mine impact along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Mankote area of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch region.Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya, 27, was on functional obligation in Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch region on Friday night.
While moving during obligation, he was fundamentally harmed in an unplanned mine impact. He was promptly hurried to the closest clinical office yet later surrendered to his wounds.
Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya had a place with Ghumarwin town in Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur. He is made due by his mom.
"Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya was a brave, highly motivated and sincere soldier. The nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty," the Army said in an explanation.
