BJP spokesperson Gaurav bhatia
On Saturday, while stepping up its attack against its opposition parties for their criticism to the government on the Covid management, the ruling party BJP has accused the Congress of “providing tools” to Pakistan to “defame India”.
The former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath, while Citing the alleged remarks, said that India is now infamous following the spread of indectious disease. The spokesperson of BJP, Gaurav Bhatia, asked Congress to clarify their stand on the issue.
The BJP has also slammed Kamal Nath for describing the virus mutation B.1.617 as the Indian variant and has blamed the president of Congress for his remarks. As per Bhatia, whatever is said by Kamal Nath is at the behest of the President of Congress, Sonia Gandhi.
In a virtual press conference, Bathia asked, “What Kamal Nath says is the Congress’s ideology and does so on behalf of Sonia Gandhi. Defaming India has become your priority. Why is Congress silent at his abhorrent statement? Why is Sonia Gandhi silent? Does she agree with him,”. He has alleged the senior leaders of Congress like Rahul Gandhi and Shashi Tharoor are also making “irresponsible” statements for weakening the fight of India against Covid.
