Bill Gates faces heat after commenting that, the COVID vaccine formula not to be shared with India
While India is facing the severe attack of the coronavirus second wave and the world community has extended its support. In a recent interview with Sky news, the tech giant and philanthropist Bill Gates denied sharing the recipe of Corona Virus vaccine with India and has been facing heat from all over the world.
In this situation of massive crisis, Bill Gates is accused of withholding vaccine formulas from other countries. When asked to talk about it, he clearly denied sharing the formula with the developing countries. He said, "Well, there's only so many vaccine factories in the world, and people are very serious about the safety of vaccines. And s moving something that had never been done -- moving vaccines, say, from a (Johnson & Johnson) factory into a factory in India -- its novel -- it's only because of our grants and expertise that can happen at all."
The reason behind holding "things back" in terms of global vaccine rollout, continued Bill Gates, "is not intellectual property. It's not like there's some idle vaccine factory with regulatory approval that makes magically safe vaccines. You know, you've got to do the trail on these things. Every manufacturing process needs to be looked at in a very careful way." Bill Gates has been criticized for his words, all across the world.
