CM Kejriwal extends lockdown in Delhi by one week, curbs to remain same
Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday, visited GTB Hospital, said cases are going down, and had announced after coming out of the hospital addressing the media that the lockdown in Delhi has been extended by one week.
"Lockdown has been extended by one week. No exemptions, norms will remain the same. We have written to the central govt and both the companies requesting them to give us vaccines. Black fungus will be closely monitored." the CM said to the media.
"We have been witnessing good recovery following the lockdown. Coronavirus cases have been on a decline," the CM commented on the recovery rate. "We don't want to lose the gain that we have made in the last few days. We are extending the lockdown for one more week. Instead of tomorrow, lockdown is extended till next Monday, 5 am in Delhi," he added, raising his concern.
