Children won't be more affected in coming covid days. Officials that minimum number of children had a need to hospitalised after covid was affected. Maximum of children will be with mild symptoms of covid, which won't harm children effectively.
On Wednesday, The Union health ministry clarified on myths of fears and vulnerable surroundings in the children, while they were affected to Covid-19. The children who are affected by covid 19 don't need hospitalisation. They require hospitalisation rarely, said by officials.
They say that the children with good immunity will recover with mild symptoms. The children with poor immunity may require hospitalisation for treatment.
Moreover, there is no data in India or globally to show that children are affected severely by coronavirus, officials said.
Government said the required arrangements are being made in terms of health care infrastructure to provide treatment for children who are affected by coronavirus.
Government also putting efforts to vaccinate children with age 2-18 years. And the government has started trials on covaxin to vaccinate children, officials said.
