China has dropped endeavours to climb Mount Everest from its side of the world's most elevated pinnacle on account of fears of bringing in Covid-19 cases from adjoining Nepal, state media detailed.
The conclusion was affirmed in a notification Friday from China's General Administration of Sport, the authority Xinhua News Agency said.
