Congress MP Rajeev Satav succumbs to Cytomegalovirus.
Congress MP Rajeev Satav died at a private medical clinic in Pune on Sunday, days subsequent to recuperating from Covid contamination (Covid-19), affirmed emergency clinic specialists.
The 46-year-old pioneer was on ventilator support at the medical clinic after his health disintegrated.
Satav, thought to be close to Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi, had tested positive for Covid-19 prior on April 22. He was subsequently determined to have another viral disease called Cytomegalovirus and was in a basic condition.
Expressing his condolence, Gandhi said, "I'm very sad at the loss of my friend Rajeev Satav. He was a leader with huge potential who embodied the ideals of Congress. It's a big loss for us all—my condolences and love to his family.
