After serious cyclonic tempest Tauktae in the west coast, another typhoon named Yaas is
probably going to hit the east coast on May 26, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said
A low pressing factor region is probably going to frame over north Andaman Sea and abutting
east-focal Bay of Bengal around May 22, it said. It is probably going to increase slowly into a
cyclonic tempest in the ensuing 72 hours, the IMD added.
Affected by the framework, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam and
