DELHI PLANS TO UNLOCK IN THE ODD-EVEN MANNER
On Saturday, the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal declared that the National capital's unlock process shall start in an odd-even manner. Markets, shopping malls in Delhi will be allowed to open in an odd-even manner.
The plan seems saddled to beat the air pollution in the capital. However, the standalone shops will be allowed to open on a daily basis.
The Delhi Metro will also start again but with only 50 percent seating capacity.
The CM said that the private offices can resume with just 50%manpower and well-settled timing be it alternative days. Work from home is still recommended widely.
The state government said that the Category A employees of the public sector offices can work daily but the other categories under them should work at 50 percent capacity.
Kejriwal said that "As and when the situation keeps empowering more relaxations will be announced. This is what is being done currently."
Provisions are being made for children by the government. Panels are being settled up as well as take force to crack the next wave of infections, told the CM.
The CM asserted that " we are preparing for the third wave of Covid-19 keeping in mind that 37,000 cases may be reported as its peak.
