DU delays final term exams
Seeing the horrendous and uncontrollable situation of the spread of Coronavirus, DU authorities have decided to postpone the final term examinations.
Previously the exams for final semester, students were to begin from may 15, 2021 but due to the outrage of Coronavirus infections they will now begin from June 1, 2021, said a senior DU official.
Numerous appeals were made to postpone the examinations since many faculty members were reported as infected and there was a significant decline in the attendance ratio from the past few days.
DU’s dean of examination, D.S. Rawat said, “ A meeting was held on Saturday with all the heads of departments and Deans. The meeting was chaired by the Vice-chancellor and it was decided that the examinations for the final-year students will be postponed to June 1. A notification regarding the same will be issued on Monday.”
