Navneet kalra owner khan chacha being arrested
Delhi police alleged Navneet Kalra for hoarding and black marketing medical oxygen. He was nabbed by the police from Gurugram on May 16th night and got officially arrested the next day. The police demanded five day’s custody in connection with the recovery of the oxygen concentrators from the “khan chacha” cafe owned by Navneet Kalra.
Metropolitan magistrate Vasundhara azad rejecting the police plea, said, “ in my considered opinion, no police remand is warranted” after hearing the submission of Vineet Malhotra and additional Public Prosecutor Atul Srivastava.
The interrogation was required to confront him with the whatsapp messages where the people who have purchased the concentrators complained of them being useless and not working. Delhi police interrogated him on the money trail and bank account details.
