Delhi Pollution: Construction will start from today, Truck entry Ban in Delhi, Schools Stay Shut & More Update
The ban on construction activities has been waived off, effective since Monday. Schools remain shut until any further notification, truck entry is prohibited, except for those housing essential commodities till November 26.
The prohibition of construction activities issued by the Commission for Air Quality Management gets lifted from today. However, the Delhi environment department issues regulations for checking the pollution aided by vehicles.
All offices, autonomous departments and corporations will remain shut till November 26, advocating the work from home format, except those involved in essential services. CM HAS urged private firms to continue their format in work from home method only.
The order clearly states that the violation of the order under Section 5 of the Environment Act, 1986 or the rules made off from it, will lead to severe punishment under Section 15 of the act, leading to five years of imprisonment or a fine of 1 lakh or even both.
The Directorate of Education remarked all schools to remain closed until further notice. However, online classes and examinations for Board batches will continue in the earlier mentioned format.
