Delhi University will start admission for the first cutoff from Monday. DU has issued detailed guidelines for this. DU has also uploaded it on its website. The head of DU Admission Branch says that if students pay attention to these guidelines before admission, they will not face any problem. From October 4 to October 6, students can apply for admission. On October 7, the admissions of the students will have to be approved by the principal. Students can deposit the admission fees till October 8.
In the first step, students have to login and choose their program and college. Students have to check whether their best of four or best of three is in line with the cutoff issued by the college. After that enter the second stage by selecting the program and college. In the second phase, after online verification of documents by the student respective colleges from the dashboard, the coordinator will re-verify the certificates for admission and approve or reject the same. The student will get the information about this on his/her dashboard. In the end, the college principal will give approval, then only the student will be able to deposit his fees.
If there is a shortage in the documents, the student will contact DU has made it clear that if any student's documents are found to be lacking, the college will contact the students for the same. For this, the college will contact the email id, phone number registered by the respective college. All colleges will specify an email id for the same. If the student does not provide the documents or relevant explanation within the stipulated time, his/her application will be rejected. DU has also clarified that no application will be left undecided under any circumstances. It will be either accepted or rejected. In case of rejection, the principal will also explain the reason for the same.
Pay the fee in stipulated time
DU has fixed October 8 as the last date for submission of fees under the first cutoff. DU has also made it clear that if the students do not deposit the fees within the stipulated time, their admission will be considered rejected. If a candidate is not satisfied with the reason for rejection then he/she can complain to the grievance committee of the college. The information and email id of the people of the Grievance Redressal Committee is available on the website of the college.
Don't forget to take the slip after paying the fee & DU also made it clear that whenever the students deposit the fees, they must take its slip. Because, if the student cancels his admission then that slip will be required. On successful payment of fees, an acknowledgment slip will have to be submitted by him/her on admission to another college.
