53 African nationals have been arrested for allegedly growing a ruckus outside a police station in southwest Delhi and attacking personnel, police stated on Friday. The incident happened at the night time of September 26. According to the police, an African guy died below mysterious instances at a medical institution here, following which medical doctors requested his friends to tell the police.
However, they insisted on taking the frame because of which an altercation occurred and later, the police were informed. Thereafter, a crowd accumulated outside Mohan Garden police station wherein the African nationals attacked the police personnel.
The incident was captured in a celular telcel smartphone of a neighborhood and the video of the incident went viral on social media.
In the video, numerous humans are visible vandalising the police station and negative cars within the area.
The police stated around 20 to 25 African nationals entered the police station with stones and rods of their hands. They attacked the police station and pelted stones.
They additionally broke motors in and out of doors of the police station.
The police stated the African nationals additionally attacked the employees wherein 3 policemen were given injured.
Later, the police officers fired 3 rounds withinside the air, following which they escaped from the spot.
A case has been registered for growing ruckus, adverse assets and obstructing police employees from acting their duties, and 53 African nationals were arrested over a duration of time.
