Sonali Guha and Mamta banerjee TMC
Previous Trinamool Congress MLA Sonali Guha, who had joined the BJP in the Assembly elections, Saturday apologized to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for leaving the gathering and asked her to take her back in the group.
In a letter to the TMC boss, Guha, who was once viewed as near Banerjee, said she was loaded with regret for taking the "wrong decision" of leaving the gathering "after getting emotional."
"I am writing this with a broken heart that I took the wrong decision of joining another party after being emotional. I could not get accustomed there. The way a fish cannot live out of the water, I will not be able to live without you, Didi. I seek your forgiveness and if you don't forgive me, I won't be able to live. Please allow me to come back and spend the rest of my life in your affection," Guha wrote, referring to Mamata Banerjee as "Didi."
The four-time MLA and previous Deputy Speaker in the Assembly, Guha was among the TMC pioneers who had changed to the BJP in front of the races. She left the TMC after being denied a pass to challenge the political decision, following which she had an emotional upheaval before the media. She, at that point, joined the BJP however didn't get a pass to challenge the surveys.
