In response to the COVID-19 situation, the University Scholarship Commission (UGC) has published exam rules and admission schedules for all universities. According to the materials of the university scholarship committee, universities must take their annual / final final exams by August 31, 2021 only after the results of CBSE, ICSE and the Council of State are published.

The provisions as contained withinside the guidelines issued in advance as stated above shall practice for the present day educational session 2020-21. Further, the Terminal Semester/ Final Year Examinations (2020-2021) be compulsorily carried out in offline (pen & paper)/ on-line/ blended (on-line offline) mode through no later than August 31, 2021 following the prescribed protocols/ guidelines associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
For mid / semester students, grades will be based on internal grades and grades from the previous semester as per the 2020 guidelines.

Higher Education Institutions shall ensure that the admission process for undergraduate courses/programmes for the academic session 2021-2022 commences only after the declaration of results by the CBSE, ICSE and State Boards. It is expected that all the School Boards will declare their results for the class/grade-XII examinations by July 31, 2021.
