Farm Law Repeal Bill Approved by Union Cabinet
After a year of protest around the three farm laws and its small tenure of implementation for 6 months, PM Narendra Modi announced its revocation on November 19.
The issue quoted by Modi for the denouncement lies in not being able to convince the farmers to the benefits of the three farm laws.
The Union Cabinet had proposed a central farm bill documenting the repeal of the three farm laws. The bill to refute the three farm laws were passed by the Union Cabinet today, November 24.
The decision was declared by the Union Cabinet Minister, Anurag Thakur after the body meeting.
The government will pass the Farm Laws Repeal Bill 2021 in the legislative procedures of the upcoming winter session of the parliament on November 29.
