The colours of various components in WhatsApp beta's message alerts have changed as a result of a new update for Android. New colours in alerts have been added to WhatsApp Beta 220.127.116.11 for Android OS. Being in a beta program implies that the feature is still in development and will not be available to the general public just yet, but it will be available to beta testers who have signed up for the WhatsApp Beta programme for Android.
According to WABetaInfo, several UI components in WhatsApp message notifications that show in the notification shade will turn blue in dark mode rather than the usual green. Changes in colour scheme are expected to occur in light mode as well, though they may not be visible to all beta users, it noted.
The blue colour will be used for the WhatsApp logo, badge, 'Reply', and 'Mark as reading' buttons in the upcoming beta release, according to WABetaInfo. Colour scheme changes may be affected by the Android version on the users' devices.
WhatsApp's Flash Call function calls users' phone numbers and then hangs up to check that the very last detailed number in their phone's log matches the number that provides you with the 6-digit code. To guarantee security, this phone number will always be changed. The Flash Call feature will not be available on iOS devices and will be available as an option on Android smartphones.
WhatsApp is also developing a new feature that will allow users to quickly examine audio messages before sending them.
