Hardik Pandya has been trending on the internet for quite a number of days. Now Mumbai Airport has charged him of illegally wearing two wrist watches worth five crores each. In response to that, Hardik replied,'I voluntarily went to declare the items bought by me and pay the requisite customs duty.'
On the other hand, the customs officials said to the media,'The cricketer did not have the receipt of the watches which he claims to be his own property. Moreover, we suspect that these watches have been possessed by him illegally. Still, everything is just preliminary assumed. Let us see what comes out while investigating the case.'
While giving the official statement, the cricketer said,'Wrong perceptions have been floating around in the social media. I voluntarily went to the Mumbai Airport Customs ferry to declare the items brought by me and pay the reqy customs fee.'
While writing on his twitter account, he also added,'Early on Monday morning, November 15, on my arrival from Dubai, after picking up my luggage, I went to Mumbai Airport Customs counter.' Though the officials are serious about their suspect, Hardik Pandya is calm and composed. He says,'All allegations are false!'
