On February 13, the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) 2022 will be held. On August 25, the registration process for this exam began. JAM 2022 has a deadline of October 11 for submitting online application forms. All nationalities (Indian and foreign) are welcome to participate in JAM. The organising institute for JAM 2022 this year is IIT Roorkee.

Important Dates and instruction for IIT JAM 2022

  • Applications for admission to IITs by JAM 2022 qualifying applicants can be filed online exclusively through a link on the JAM 2022 website from April 11 to 25, 2022.

  •  Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics will be among the seven test papers in JAM 2022. (PH). The JAM results may be used by IISc Bangalore's Integrated Ph.D. programmes in Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Biological Sciences to shortlist candidates for an interview for final selection.

  •  The admit cards for JAM 2022 will be available on January 4th.

  •  A change of test city/town may be granted in extraordinary circumstances if a request with a legitimate cause is received by the office of the Organizing Chair, JAM 2022 through e-mail (jam@iitr.ac.in) on or before November 12, 2021, according to the exam announcement.

  •  A candidate's multiple applications are subject to rejection.

  • If candidates decide to appear in another test paper or change test paper(s) after submitting an application, they can add the additional test paper or modify the test paper(s) in the earlier filed application form before the closing date (October 11, 2021). Candidates must pay additional costs for this.

  • On March 22, 2022, the results (merit lists) will be announced.
