CSK won Ipl 2021 Title for the 4th time
In the final match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 27 runs to win the title for the fourth time. In this match played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Chennai had given a target of 193 runs to Kolkata to be the titleholder, in response to which the team led by Eoin Morgan was only 165 runs at the loss of 9 wickets and missed out on their third title.
When Kolkata's team was batting in the high scoring match, something happened that the out batsman also got not out. Kolkata opener Shubman Gill was batting brilliantly, then in the tenth over he blew Ravindra Jadeja's ball in the air and Ambati Rayudu caught it brilliantly. But later the third umpire declared the ball dead. That's because when the ball was in the air, the ball hit the camera wire. The ball came down after hitting the wire and Ambati Rayudu caught it. But when the third umpire again saw its replay, the ball was seen hitting the wire, in which case the ball was declared dead.
