A constable of Indo Tibetan line police (ITBP) was killed and one harmed in a trade of fire with Naxals which occurred on Tuesday morning in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur area.
"The experience broke out with little activity group of Naxals close to Amdai Ghaati under Chota Dongar Police Station limit in Narayanpur when the street opening gathering of ITBP's 45th regiment was sent to clean the street for the protected development of Narayanpur Congress MLA Chandan Kashyap's escort," said IGP Bastar P Sundarraj.
IG Sundarraj further said that the trading of fire among Naxals and ITBP jawans broke out around 10.00 am today morning after the escort of MLA Chandan Kashyap securely passed the Amdai Ghati to arrive at his objective orchha square of Narayanpur locale.
An ITBP constable named Shiv Kumar Meena was killed and leaving one collaborator sub-monitor Keshav Ram harmed during the experience.
"The assemblage of martyred staff and harmed Jawan is moved to a medical clinic. Harmed jawan experienced a minor injury and is out of risk," added IG Sundarraj.
IG Sundarraj further added that the helicopter has been shipped off orchha to empty MLA Chandan Kashyap.
It is a similar region where Naxals assaulted a mining region site fourteen days prior in which one manager of a mining organization got killed and four-five development vehicles were burnt by Naxals. (ANI)
