India's current situation is heartbreaking, says Microsoft CEO
Due to rising covid-19 cases in India Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella pledged to help India fight the ongoing situation. He says that Microsoft will use all its "resources, efforts and technology" to help India and support them in purchasing oxygen devices. Seeing the situation, he felt so heartbroken and asked the US government to aid some help.
"I am heartbroken by the current situation in India. I'm grateful the US government is mobilizing to help. Microsoft will continue to use its voice, resources, and technology to aid relief efforts, and support the purchase of critical oxygen concentration devices," tweeted Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella from his official Twitter account.
Satya Nadella, executive of India-America business, now the CEO of Microsoft, has said to aid India in this pandemic situation. Earlier the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, also announced that it would help India fight covid-19 by providing 135 crore donations. He said that funds would be utilized for "medical supplies, organizations supporting high-risk communities, and grants to help spread critical information."
On Monday, India recorded more than 3 lakh cases and reaching the peak day by day. Indian hospitals are reaching a shortage of beds and oxygen. Delhi hospitals are turning the patients due to a shortage of beds and oxygen there. Several countries, including Germany, Britain, and the USA, have pledged to help India in such a crisis. They will provide all the medical equipment and raw material for vaccines to gear up. They will also help by providing oxygen cylinders and ventilators.
