Karnataka's deputy CM suggests a new app for the Covid-19 vaccination drive.
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan on Saturday recommended that another application should have been produced for administering immunization to individuals of 18-44 age bracket.
Narayan said, "With regard to administering vaccines for the 18-44 years age group, a new app needs to be developed and this will be interfaced with the Co-WIN App and later the vaccination schedule will be prepared taking into account the availability of vaccines."
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has asked the Center to permit states to foster a different versatile application and system for viable and smooth Covid inoculation drive in the midst of reports of glitches being accounted for in the Co-WIN application.
"A priority list will be prepared. This may include those who are working in the postal department, agricultural department, bank employees, internet service providers, etc.", said Karnataka, Deputy Chief Minister and Head of State Covid Task Force, Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan.
