On Monday, 4th of October, the Uttar Pradesh police had booked and released a warrant against Ashish Mishra, on the charges of murder. The Samyukta Kishsan Morcha (SKM) which is the organization of several farmer’s unions, alleged and reported that Ashish Mishra turned up and arrived with three vehicles around the time when the farmers were leaving after an ongoing protest against the three central farm laws. But the union minister along with his son denied all the allegations made by (SKM), and refused to accept that fact that Ashish Mishra was present and was involved in the incident. On the other hand the Uttar Pradesh police arrested the accused who were directly connected with Mishra and the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri.
