Madhuri Dixit gets teary-eyed as she remembers Saroj Khan: ‘She gave me strength on movie set.’
Madhuri Dixit and Late Bollywood Choreographer Saroj Khan are the perfect definitions of the ‘Guru shishya’ duo. They both together have given Bollywood the most iconic dance songs like “Dhak Dhak,” “Chane ke Khet Me,” “Ek Do Teen,” “Tamma Tamma,” “Dola Re Dola,” and many more. Recently Madhuri Dixit remembered Saroj Khan as his strongest pillar on the movie sets.
Madhuri Dixit is going to share her experience of how she learned from Saroj Khan in her early days of Bollywood in the upcoming telecast of the dance reality show Dance Deewane. The actor shares that she had learned everything from expressions to how to look presentable in from of the camera from her guru “Saroj Khan.”As two of the contestants dedicated their performance to the song “Tabah Ho Gaye” to Saroj Khan and Madhuri Dixit. On seeing the performance, the actress got teary-eyed remembering Late Saroj Khan. The song was to be the last song choreographed by Saroj with Madhuri Dixit.
When Bharati asked Madhuri if she even got scolded by Saroj Khan, Madhuri Dixit replied, “ Yes, I’ve been scolded by her. Once she scolded me for crying after my director had scolded me. She said, ‘Why are you crying? Don’t ever cry in life.’ I miss her a lot.”
