Man finds 'human baby-sized frog in the Solomon Islands.
A 35-Year-old man, Jimmy Hugo who was spending a usual day in the Solomon Islands. He was out hunting wild pigs in a local hunting expedition, during which he came across a huge frog which was almost the size of a human baby. Hugo clicked a hot of the frog and shared it on a Facebook group which was full of comments from the surprised people. Hugo said, "Where I come from, it's call bush chicken," reads the caption shared by Hugo along with the photo. The image shows a boy holding a huge frog. "I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It is the biggest frog I have ever seen in my life. It was the same size as a human baby." The frog was identified as Cornufer guppy, which happens to the largest frog in the world.
People were very surprised of seeing such a huge frog and shared surprising comments in the comment section.
A Facebook user explained, "That's the largest water frog in Solomon Islands and probably in Melanesia. This species, Cornufer guppyi has a geographic range from the Bismarck and Solomon archipelago to Malaita."
