Mobile Internet to remain shut in Jaipur from 9 am to 1 pm ahead of the RAS examinations

RAS Exam

RAS Exam

Jaipur: The mobile users in Jaipur are once again going to face an internet ban in Jaipur on Wednesday. The restrictions upon mobile internet users are going to be imposed on the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Examinations. This decision and these strict stringent measures have been imposed to prevent the leaking of the question papers, cheating, rumor-mongering, etc. with this decision, the businesses are likely going to be affected and many people are going to face difficulty because of the mobile internet ban.

Several districts of Rajasthan, which included the state capital Jaipur, Bikaner, and Dausa also had to face a 12-hour mobile internet shutdown on Saturday and Sunday, due to the Patwari recruitment examinations. Around 15 lakh candidates had to appear in the Patwari recruitment examinations, which were held with over 20 districts in Rajasthan.

In September the mobile internet shut down in Rajasthan during the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers or REET in the state, and that led to controversy after the allegations of the widespread use of unfair means, and also including the use of Bluetooth devices for cheating, paper leaking, etc. and due to this several people have been arrested as they had the demands for the reexamination that was being taken by the multiple candidates.

The shutdown of the internet is directly affected by the business and the clampdown on a working day will result in larger disadvantages for those such as the cab drivers, and the food delivery firms, as they are large and solely dependent on internet services.
