Mumbai police register FIR against the captain of sinking Barge P-305
An FIR has been registered against the captain and others by the yellow gate police station, Mumbai. Rakesh Ballav, the captain of the Barge, was reported to have been warned by the coast guard repeatedly about the cyclone Tauktae. The FIR was lodged after Barge Engineer Rehman Shaikh complained that the captain, though repeatedly warned, kept ignoring it, therefore, risking his and others’ lives.
The offense is registered under the 304 (2), 338, 34 IPC at Yellowgate Police station.
