PM Modi urges all Indians to shed vaccine hesitancy on Mann ki baat

       On monthly Mann ki baat, the prime minister encouraged all Indians to take vaccinations when their turn comes to overcome vaccine hesitancy. Modi said that the mother also taken the vaccine of two doses. Trust the vaccine. Don't trust the rumours spreading on vaccines, he said on Mann ki baat. 

         On the 78th edition of his monthly radio address Mann ki baat', PM Modi urges the people to take vaccinations' I urge you all, Trust science, Trust our scientists. So many people had their vaccinations when their turn came. They are immunized. I have taken two doses. My mother, a hundred-year-old woman, took two doses of vaccine. Please don't believe rumours spreading about vaccinations", he said. Only by getting vaccinated can one be safe from the most deadly disease, coronavirus, he said to the people. In India where new variants are  borning  like the Delta strain, Delta plus, he is concerned that in India more than half of the people are not vaccinated. Only 5.6 % of the adult population  has received two doses, according to government reports. 

             PM Modi expressed satisfaction  at the increasing speed of vaccinations in the week. And stressed that it is important to carry this moment forward with high speed, he said. The centre expects to get at least 188 crore vaccine doses for vaccination from  five manufacturers to vaccinate entire adult people by the year-end.
