The Prime Minister has launched a welfare scheme for the children who lost their parents to COVID19. Under the PM CARES scheme such children will be provided with free education, monthly stipend, free health insurance and some more.
"Children represent the future of the country, and we will do everything to support and protect the children. It is our duty, as a society, to care for our children and instil hope for a bright future," the PM said.
They will get a monthly stipend after they turn 18 and a fund of 10 lakh when they turn 23 from the PM CARES funds.

Assistance will be provided to such children to get educational loans and the interest will be paid by PM CARES.
