The legendary Pakistani comedian Umer Sharif has died today due to some serious health problems . This news was confirmed by Dr. Mohammed Faisal Pakistani Ambassador to Germany .He was 66 years old. On September 28 he took an air Ambulance to a hospital in the United States for treatment. During the journey his condition became worse and he was admitted to a hospital in Germany. His condition became a source of national worry.
Sharif was a comedian, actor, director , producer and stage artist in India and Pakistan during the 1980s and 1990's . On several occasions he used to travel to India to attend certain ceremonies and exhibitions.
Umer Shariq began his career at the age of 14 . Umer Sharif was born on April 19, 1955, in Liaquatabad, Karachi, to an Urdu-speaking family. The comedian was widely recognised as one of Asia's most popular.
He appeared in over 60 stage comedies and in a number of television shows . He also done producing, directing, and acting in two major films. Bakra Qiston Pay’ Part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (1989), ‘Dulhan Main Lekar Jaonga’, ‘Salam Karachi’, ‘Meri Bhi To Eid Karade’, ‘Nayee Aami Purana Abba’, ‘Yeh Hay Naya Tamasha’ and ‘Yeh Hay Naya Zamana’ are some of his wonderful works.
