Petrol and Diesel rates in India, hike on the seventh consecutive day.

New Delhi: the hikes in the prices of petrol and diesel have been noted on the seventh consecutive day, across the country. The hike in the prices follows the hike in the international oil prices, and that has resulted in the hike of the prices across the country. Rates in the country’s capital Delhi have seen an increase of Rs 0.35 in Petrol, and even in the diesel prices, the prices have gone up to Rs 110.04 per litre and Rs 98.42 per litre, respectively. Whereas in the financial capital of the country, Mumbai the petrol and along with that the diesel prices have touched the rate of Rs 115.85 per litre and Rs 106.62 per litre respectively. Whereas in West Bengal’s capital Kolkata the prices of Petrol and diesel have reached Rs 110.49 and Rs 101.56 per litre respectively. The prices of petrol and diesel have reached Rs 106.66 and Rs 102.59 per litre respectively in Chennai.

Meanwhile, petrol and diesel prices in the IT hubs of Hyderabad and Bengaluru are as follows: ₹114.49 and ₹107.40 (Hyderabad) and ₹113.93 and ₹104.50 (Bengaluru).
However, it is Ganganagar in Rajasthan which has the highest fuel rates in the country, with a litre of petrol and diesel each available at ₹122.70 and ₹113.21 respectively. Moreover, the rates might differ from place to place based on the incidence of the local taxes and the transportation.
Even the central government has a discussion with several oil-exporting countries, regarding the issues of the supplying of the oil along with the demands, but it is seen that there has been no possibility of the reduction in the prices of both Petrol and Diesel. Even a source said that the Ministry of the Petroleum and the Natural gas hike and the sharp rises in the prices of the fuel has been a major topic of concern. This has even led to a topic of concern, for the major oil supplying countries. "As crude oil prices rise internationally, the petroleum ministry has called on the energy ministries of many countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Russia, and others," said the reports”.
