It is also said that the 47 people who died in this crash had been accounted for by the military, said Chief Cirilito Sobejana on Monday.

It is said that 49 military persons were injured during the crash. It is also discovered that seven civilians were attacked in which 3 civilians were killed on the ground and four were injured. This was discovered by The Department of National Defence on Sunday.
The aircraft, named Lockheed C-139 which was carrying the troops for counter-insurgency operations, overshot the runway at Jolo airport in southern Sulu province, said Colonel Edgard Arevalo, the military spokesperson.
