Properties worth Rs.1000 crore linked to Ajit Pawar - attached by Income Tax department.
Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra , Ajit Pawar was linked with Rs.1000 crore assets. According to the experts, the 1000 crore Rs. property includes a sugar factory, a residential property in south Delhi, an office in Mumbai’s upmarket area, a resort in Goa and land in various parts of the states, which have basically seized the properties under Prohibition act 1988.
Income tax department raided the properties and his sister's houses in Kolhapur, Pune as well as in the Mumbai office of his son Parth Pawar. Government said that the assets were attached with Satara- based Jarandeshwar sugar factory worth Rs. 600 crore , a south Delhi flat worth Rs. 20 crore , the Nirmal office of Mr. Parth Pawar is estimated worth Rs. 25 crore , and a Goa resort of Rs. 250 crore.
