Punjab Chief Minister, announced to provide govt jobs and 50 lakh RS to the family of deceased

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister, Chandrajit Singh Channi, made an announcement regarding an ex Gratia grant of RS 50 lakh and also a government job to one of the members from the family of the three soldiers who lost their lives in the gun fight for the service of the Nation. They lost their lives in the encounter which took place in Kashmir’s Poonch on Monday. Furthermore the three soldiers, who have been identified after the encounter are Naib Subedar Jaswinder Singh, Naik Mandeep Singh Vill and Sepoy Gajjan Singh.  

For this incident the CM of Punjab went on for an announcement of an ex gratia grant of 50 Lakhs rupees, and apart from that a government job to one of the family members of the soldier who lost their lives on Monday. The officer of Punjab took to social media to Tweet, "CM Charanjit Channi announces ex-gratia grant of 50 lakh and a government job to one member of bereaved family of Naib Subedar Jaswinder Singh Sena Medal, Naik Mandeep Singh & Sepoy Gajjan Singh, who sacrifice their lives in a gunfight with terrorists in Poonch (J&K)."

Among the three identified soldiers, Jaswinder Singh whose age was 39 years, was survived by his wife and a son and daughter. He belonged from Mana Talwandi village located in Kapurthala village of Punjab. Even his brother informed them that their father lost their life to Covid-19 a few months back. Apart from that, during the Poonch Encounter, five army soldiers were killed in the encounter, which broke out during an anti-insurgency operation at the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday. Led to the loss of the lives of the four jawans.
