Infected from the Congress-driven UDF's drubbing in the Kerala Assembly races, Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Mullappally Ramachandran said on Saturday he was not enthused about proceeding in the post.
Conversing with journalists here, Ramachandran said after the UDF rout in the surveys, he has given a definite report to Sonia Gandhi portraying all issues identified with the decisions.
"In that report, I have informed the Congress president that I am not interested in continuing in the post of KPCC president," he said.
Ramachandran said he would proceed in the post till an elective plan is made.
Got some information about his non-appearance in the main UDF meeting held after the get together races on Friday, the senior Congress pioneer said going to the gathering as KPCC chief was not ethically right since he has mentioned Sonia Gandhi to acknowledge his abdication from the post.
Ramachandran said as the PCC chief he had got full cooperation from Sonia Gandhi and social affair pioneer Rahul Gandhi.
