SC commission starts a two-day Bengal visit to test brutality.
The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has guided the West Bengal police to take "stern action" on the culprits of savagery against individuals from the local area after get-together decisions results were declared on May 2.
The commission, headed by Vijay Sampla, is in West Bengal for a two-day visit to do spot visits in the East Burdhwan and 24 Paraganas areas, where it got grumblings of monstrosities against Dalits.
In spite of the fact that the West Bengal government had before requested the NCSC to drop the visit in view of the pandemic limitations, the board decided to proceed with its investigation into the instances of viciousness.
The commission went to the place of a complainant, Ashish Khetrapal, in Nabagram and discovered it bolted.
