NEW DELHI: Indian cricketer and the member of the parliament Sachin Tendulkar along with Reliance ADAG Chief Anil Ambani, and the chairperson and MD of Biocon were among the individuals who got their names listed among the affluent individuals of the country, whose name got linked with the Pandora papers, which is an investigation that uncovered the financial secrets that are held by the high profile officials and individuals around the world.

On Sunday the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) unveiled the “Pandora Paper '' Which further claimed and went on to uncover the secret of the financial conditions of the rich and individual people. The uncovered financial conditions of the rich and influential people includes 35 former world leaders, more than 330 politicians and public officials from 91 countries.

People linked offshore from India are Sachin Tendulkar, and pop star Shakira and supermodel Claudia Schiffer. And apart from the Pandora papers investigation, the ICIJ has further revealed nearly 12 million documents which exposed hundreds of the world leaders, politicians, billionaires, celebrities, religious leaders, and the drug dealers who have kept their investments hidden in the wraps.

The first list of the Pandora papers mentions the names of the several people, but not every individual has been involved in the wrongdoings. According to the investigation and the records of the Alcogal, Panama law firm were part of the Pandora papers, the Indian cricketer Sachin along with his wife Anjali Tendulkar and father in law Anand Mehta were named as the Beneficial owners(BOs).
