Mumbai: NCB officer was asked whether he would take any legal action against the NCP leader Nawab Malik. And the allegations that were made by him, the NCB Zonal director said that “I am a central government employee, so I have to take due permission from my seniors and after that, I will take legal action.” He also added, “Personal attacks being made on us in the past 15 days.
Attacks are being made on my deceased mother, sister, and retired father. I strongly condemn this.” The challenge that was given by Malik to Wankhede, that he would lose his job within a year, the NCB officer went on to say that, “My best wishes are with him. I am just a government employee. He is a big minister. If he wants to put me in jail for serving the country, for working honestly and eliminating the drug menace then I welcome it.' Nawab Malik has been restlessly attacking NCB and especially upon the NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede.
Upon this incident, Wankhede even said that his morale will be only lifted with these attacks, as the intention of Malik is to put Wankhede behind the bars. The incident is taking place since the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aaryan Khan. Nawab Malik is the Nationalist Congress Party leader and is a minister of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government. Since the arrest of Aaryan Khan, Malik has been bringing out a series of allegations against the officer, the latest one being the “extortion”. Nawab Malik said when Bollywood stars were in the Maldives, Sameer Wankhede was in the Maldives, hinting at a behind-the-scenes development.
On Thursday the minister even threatened that he is not going to stop his tirade against the officer until he is sent behind the bars. Upon these allegations, the officer said that “he was in the Maldives on a vacation with his family. He took permission from the government (from his department) before taking the leaves. He also asserted that he has never been to Dubai contrary to what Nawab Malik claimed. The officer even said that his family members are being dragged into the case and are facing personal attacks. Both of them are getting into headlines after the arrest of Aaryan khan. Apart from that, the NCB has also arrested the son-in-law of Malik, due to the connection of drugs case. But he finally got bail, because he was not in possession of ganja and it was some herbs.
