Samsung has returned with a vengeance, unveiling a slew of new devices, some of which could signal a shift in the company's strategy. At its high-profile "Galaxy Unpacked," the South Korean giant unveiled a slew of new goods, including the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Buds 2. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has two screens: the main folding inside the display and a secondary display on the outside. The main display is a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED panel dubbed the Infinity Flex Display by the brand. It has a 2208×1768 pixel resolution, 374ppi (pixels per inch), and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
A 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 2268×832 pixels and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate makes up the second screen. At 271 grams, the phone is also around 10 grams lighter than Fold 2.
The Fold 3 is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. A 4,400mAh battery is also included. In terms of 5G, the phone will support SA and NSA Sub-6Ghz as well as mmWave 5G. The phone runs Android 11 and Samsung's One UI 3.1 user interface.
