Samyukta Kisan Morcha raises 6 demands to PM
Samyukta Kisan Morcha announced in an open letter, urging PM Narendra Modi to resolve talks for the six remaining pending demands left after withdrawal of the farm laws.
They assured that they also seek the pleasure and comfort of their homes, and do not intend on sitting in demonstrations throughout their life. It is now the sensitivity of the government to resolve the other demands, they commented.
The protest demonstrations will continue until November 29, the first day of the winter session of the Parliament.
What are the other six demands?
Declaration of all farmers to be duly present at the site of Lucknow Kisan Mahapanchayat on November 22, and accumulate on the anniversary of the farmers markets protest on November 26 for the demonstration.
The next meeting of the farmers' body is scheduled on November 27.
