A 55-year-old Indian-origin woman in Singapore was kicked by a hurled racial slur for not wearing a mask while she was walking.
A private tutor, Hindocha Nita Vishnabhai, was brisk walking on Friday Monday when a man came to her and asked her to pull up her mask from the chin.
According to the channel, Nita was walking along the Chao Chu Kang Drive when a man approached him near the bus stop and said"
Her daughter Kaur posted the incident on Instagram and said, "She explained that she was brisk walking but he didn't care. He hurled vulgarities and racial slurs at her."
She also added that "My mum responded with a ''God bless you,'' and the guy kicked her in the chest. My mum landed on her back and hurt herself."
Kaur said that her mother was just brisk walking as an exercise, but the incident left her with fear on her, "afraid of taking a walk in her own country."
